THE DEVELOPMENT PATH FOR PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE LEDGER
From working prototype to trusted public infrastructure
The PKL Roadmap sets out how the Public Knowledge Ledger can move from a promising technical system into a useful, accountable and independently supported public resource.
The important work is not only adding features. PKL must earn trust through transparent review, careful governance, clear standards and a body of knowledge that people can genuinely use.
The journey ahead
- Strengthen the foundations: improve reliability, documentation and moderation tools.
- Build independent review: involve qualified contributors who can challenge claims and methods.
- Grow useful knowledge: publish claims with traceable evidence and visible provenance.
- Establish governance: define transparent responsibilities, safeguards and decision-making.
- Open the infrastructure: develop APIs and partnerships that allow PKL to travel beyond a single website.
A roadmap is not a promise that every step will be easy. It is a commitment to making the direction visible.
